This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards while promoting a safe, educated, and high-performing workforce. **SIGN-ON-BONUS!!** Health Insurances available on day one of employment! ### **Schedule & Compensation** - **Full-Time, Exempt** - **Salary Range:** $90,000 – $95,000 annually - **Schedule:** Monday through Friday, daytime hours - Occasional off-shift coverage as needed - Participation in **weekend on-call rotation required** ### **Why Join Us?** - Play a key role in **DPH survey readiness and quality outcomes** - Lead initiatives that directly impact **resident safety and staff excellence** - Collaborative, mission-driven healthcare environment ## Requirements ### **Key Responsibilities** #### **Staff Development** - Develop and implement **orientation and onboarding programs** in accordance with Massachusetts regulatory requirements - Assess and coordinate **facility-wide in-service education programs** - Ensure staff compliance with **mandatory annual education and competency requirements** - Maintain documentation to support **DPH and CMS survey readiness** - Coordinate CPR certification and required clinical training programs - Participate in **quality improvement initiatives and survey preparation activities** #### **Infection Control** - Establish and maintain a **facility-wide Infection Prevention and Control Program** compliant with DPH and CMS regulations - Conduct infection surveillance and ensure appropriate **state-required reporting** - Develop and maintain infection control policies and procedures - Perform routine infection control audits, rounds, and staff observations - Provide education and consultation to all departments regarding infection prevention practices - Lead **outbreak investigations and response efforts** in accordance with public health guidance - Report infection control data to Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) committees ### **Qualifications** - Current **Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts** - Minimum of **three (3) years of nursing experience** in a long-term care or hospital setting - Experience in **infection control and staff education required; ICF/LTC preferred** - Demonstrated knowledge of: - Massachusetts DPH regulations - CMS F-tags (Infection Control, Education, Quality Assurance) - Infection surveillance, prevention, and outbreak management - Adult education principles - Current CPR certification; instructor certification preferred or willingness to obtain ### **Additional Expectations** - Ensures compliance with **Massachusetts DPH, CDC, and CMS regulatory standards** - Supports organizational mission, values, and Standards of Conduct - Participates in required meetings, surveys, and continuing e…
