## Overview **Chaplain** **\*\*contract position\*\*** TLC Management is looking for a chaplain to join our team by helping to support initiatives that lead to positve impact on employee engagement, morale and retention. This position will be not only provide spiritual services to TLC, but also leading the Facility Staff Chaplains within TLC Managed Facilities. The primary purpose of this position is to provide spiritual consultation services to staff and provide encouragement and be an advocate for them in their lives. This position reports directly to the Administrator ## Responsibilities **Primary Responsibilities** - Provide advice, counsel and support for the facility staff on spiritual and/or other matters. - Provide assistance and advice to administration on ethical healthcare concerns. - Make resident rounds informing of spiritual care services available. - Interview and counsel staff who require/request spiritual counseling services. - Be available by telephone for any special problems that may develop. - Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, positive emphasis and a calm environment throughout the facility. - Maintain the confidentiality of all staff and their spiritual care. ## Qualifications **Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:** - A high school diploma or GED. - Professional Chaplain Certification or higher education in theology or related field.
