In this role, you’ll contribute directly to product strategy and design for a primary feature area, partnering closely with a Product Manager and Engineering partners to take ideas from customer need to shipped product. You’ll create clear, thoughtful flows that guide users through complex tasks, account for important micro-interactions, and use Jump’s design system and UX patterns to create a consistent experience across the app. This is a high-impact role for someone who wants meaningful ownership, loves building quickly without sacrificing quality, and is excited to use modern design practices—including the rapid changes made possible by AI tools—to help shape the future of advisor workflows. 🛠️ WHAT YOU’LL DO - Own UX and product design for a primary feature area in close partnership with Product and Engineering. - Design beautiful, intuitive experiences for web and mobile software applications. - Translate customer needs, product requirements, and business priorities into clear user flows, interaction models, and polished designs. - Account for micro-interactions and moments of guidance that help users move confidently through their work. - Use Jump’s existing design system and UX patterns to maintain consistency across the app experience. - Propose thoughtful adjustments to design systems and patterns when they improve usability, clarity, or quality. - Move quickly while using strong judgment about what is worth designing, what customers truly need, and what the minimum is to ship a quality experience. - Collaborate across the design team and product organization to raise the bar for craft, consistency, and customer impact. - Stay current with AI-enabled design tools and evolving design workflows. - Help build Jump into a career-making, exceptional place to work. 🙌 ABOUT YOU You may be a strong fit if you have: - 4–8 years of experience designing software applications for web and mobile. - The ability to contribute directly to product and design in collaboration with your PM for a primary feature area. - Strong visual and interaction design abilities, with a portfolio that shows beautiful, intuitive product experiences. - Experience creating flows that guide users through tasks clearly while accounting for micro-interactions along the way. - Openness to feedback and the ability to iterate quickly and thoughtfully. - Strong product intuition: you can tell when customers truly need something and what is required to ship a quality experience. - Familiarity with and respect for design systems, UX patterns, and consistency across an app experience. - Comfort proposing…
