The CIO is responsible for installing, managing, and securing all shipyard networks and systems, approving IT acquisitions, and operating a Navy and DoD–compliant Information Assurance program. Our team supports approximately 10,000 enterprise network seats and leads initiatives to improve cyberspace efficiency while managing wired and wireless networks, secure and unclassified enclaves, mobile workforce capabilities, standalone systems, servers, circuits, applications, and end-user devices.
