As part of the R&D Finance team, the Sr. Financial Analyst will play a key role in enabling the success of their assigned function(s) within R&D and Medical Affairs, supporting key financial processes, enabling the success of program teams, and acting as a business partner to assigned key functions at the company. \_ ## Your Contributions (include, but are not limited to): - Acts as a key partner in supporting the assigned functions and programs in financial and business planning analysis, reporting, and operations - Creates and/or updates financial models that support decision-making and provide valuable insight to Senior Leaders and project teams - Reviews and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual results, helping to understand variances of actuals vs budget or forecast - Analyzes departmental budgets and plays a key role in forecasting efforts to support financial planning and overall guidance - Collaborates with cross-functional business partners and teams within assigned functions and Accounting - Identifies and delivers opportunities to simplify and improve processes and systems and create operational efficiencies - Performs ad-hoc analyses that lead to problem solving, decision-making, and actionable recommendations for the business - Collects and analyzes financial information for assigned business in order to track the organization's progress against financial goals - Other duties as assigned ## Requirements: - BS/BA degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or closely related field and 6+ years of financial analysis experience; Pharmaceutical and/or Biotech industry experience is a plus.
