Squeegee Loader Operator

## Description Nelson Pipeline is seeking a highly motivated Squeegee Loader who will be responsible for applying asphalt emulsions or sealants to payment surfaces using a squeegee attachment, and ensuring even coverage and a smooth finish. - Inspect and maintain equipment on a daily basis to ensure safe and efficient use - Prepare pavement surfaces for treatment by cleaning, sweeping, or patching as needed - Monitor material levels and replenish as needed to maintain continuous operation - Load materials into the squeegee loader ‘s bucket and distribute them evenly along the length of the trench - Use a squeegee loader to compact and backfill materials in and around utility trenches - Adheres to all safety rules - Maintaining the work areas in a clean, safe, and orderly manner on a continuous basis - Occasional labor work when machinery work is slow - Other job duties as assigned ## Requirements - Safety operating and understanding equipment controls, functions and safety features - Ability to sit for extended periods and operate controls with accuracy - Communicates effectively with crew members and managers **Physical Demands** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
