Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) School‑Based Rehabilitation Services (SBRS) – CTN Independent Contractor | 1to1 Rehab Location(s): Newmarket, ON Aurora, ON Wage: $80.50–$100.00 per hour Vacancy: 2 Full-Time Independent Contracts About Us 1to1 Rehab is a nationally accredited, client‑focused therapy service provider recognized for excellence in Speech‑Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, and Nutritional Services. We support clients across homes, schools, long‑term care facilities, and community settings throughout the Greater Toronto Area. We are intentional about who we partner with. This role is not about filling a caseload — it’s about finding the right clinician fit. Our Speech‑Language Pathologists value independence, flexibility, and high‑quality adult rehabilitation, while still having access to strong clinical and administrative support. You’ll practice under the umbrella of a well‑established, accredited organization, while maintaining autonomy in your day‑to‑day community‑based work. Caseload Overview We are currently recruiting for two full time Speech‑Language Pathologists to support an paediatric community caseload funded through Children's Treatment Network. Services are delivered in publicly funded schools. You will have the opportunity to: - Accept referrals that align with your availability, geography, and clinical interests - Build a caseload at a pace that works for you Why Speech‑Language Pathologists Choose 1to1 Rehab Our independent contractor model is intentionally designed for SLPs who want true flexibility without isolation. - Control over caseload and schedule — accept or decline referrals based on fit and capacity - Flexible scheduling that supports work–life balance, family commitments, or other clinical work - Paediatric‑focused clinical support and mentorship, including consultation support for complex cases - Clear clinical escalation pathways and risk support — you’re not on your own when complexity arises - Strong administrative support, including scheduling, billing, and documentation assistance - Mobile‑friendly documentation systems, significantly reducing after‑hours paperwork - A sense of community and connection, even while working independently in the community Many clinicians tell us they value the independence of contracting — but stay with 1to1 because *independent doesn’t mean isolated here*. What You’ll Be Doing - Deliver CTN‑authorized School‑Based Rehabilitation Services (SBRS) in publicly funded schools - Complete functional speech and language assessments related to school participation - Provide time‑limited, consultative interventions using SBRS best practices - Collaborate with educators, families, and other SBRS providers (OT, PT) - Develop and share practical strategies to support communication in the classroom - Complete required documentation and reporting in accordance with CTN, MCCSS, and CASLPO standards - Support transitions and discharge planning once SBRS goals are achieved Qualifications - Master’s Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology - Registration in good standing with CASLPO - Experience working with paediatric populations preferred (but not required) - Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and intervention skills - Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities - Professional liability insurance - Access to a reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license - Clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last year) Who This Role Is Well‑Suited For This role is ideal for Speech‑Language Pathologists who: - Want flexible, referral‑based work alongside other professional commitments - Value clinical autonomy while still appreciating access to mentorship and support - Enjoy community practice and functional, meaningful rehabilitation - Want flexibility that’s real — not just promised Use of AI in Recruitment Please note that AI‑assisted tools may be used to support consistency and efficiency in parts of the recruitment proces…
