Advancing Potential.** ## Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated **Speech-Language Pathologist** to join our interdisciplinary team. The Speech-Language Pathologist plays a critical role in evaluating, treating, and supporting the communication needs of students with multiple disabilities while collaborating with educators, therapists, families, and other professionals to promote student success. This is a **part-time, 21-hour/week position.** ## Key Responsibilities - Provide individual and group speech-language therapy services to students ages 3–21 with multiple disabilities in accordance with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and mandates. - Conduct speech-language evaluations, ongoing assessments, and develop individualized treatment plans. - Participate in planning, conducting, and recording IEP meetings, transdisciplinary meetings, and family conferences. - Monitor student progress and modify therapeutic interventions as needed to maximize outcomes. - Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to implement communication goals and support student success. - Maintain accurate, timely documentation, therapy schedules, SEMI reports, and electronic records in compliance with NJDOE and APSSD regulations. - Train and support teachers, paraprofessionals, and families in communication strategies and the use of therapeutic techniques and equipment. - Participate in professional development, staff training, and team meetings as scheduled. - Cooperate fully with all licensing and accrediting operations of respective funding sources including any inspections and investigations. - Uphold student confidentiality and adhere to all federal and state regulations, including FERPA and IDEA. ## Required Qualifications - Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology. - Current New Jersey Speech-Language Pathology License (or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year). - Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. - Valid New Jersey Department of Education Speech-Language Specialist Certification. - Previous work experience with students with special needs preferred. - Excellent human relations skills and a working knowledge of the English language in written and verbal form. - Must have the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with administrators, colleagues, school-based staff, students, parents, and community members in a multidisciplinary team environment. - Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. - Must pass a New Jersey criminal record history check and be able to receive clearance by the Department of Education. - Pass or provide proof of a negative Mantoux test. ## What We Offer - Competitive hourly compensation - Flexible part-time schedule - Meaningful mission-driven work - Supportive team environment - Collaborative interdisciplinary teams - Opportunities for leadership and growth - Sick time benefits - Onsite childcare (Monmouth County) ## How to Apply Interested candidates should apply for this position via the **LADACIN.org** website or via Indeed. **Position open until filled.
