Monticello consistently ranks in the top 50 school districts in the state as measured by a number of organizations and metrics, and performs above the state average in graduation rates, test scores, and early college opportunities. Speech-Language Pathologist Monticello Public Schools 0.4 FTE up to 1.0 FTE Job Description: This position will complete speech and language evaluations/due process paperwork within the Monticello Public Schools. Caseload students and provide direct and indirect services to students preschool and kindergarten. The speech-language pathologist will collaborate with other service providers. License & Experience: Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the State of Minnesota Knowledge and experience working with students with speech and language impairments Experience working students and families Essential Skills: Knowledge and experience completing assessments and due process and follow timeline requirements of special education Experience working with preschool, elementary , and secondary aged students Must be able to assure and implement state and federal laws, statutes, rules and regulations pertaining to special education Team oriented approach when working with students, colleagues, families, and administrators Effective communication and teaming skills, both verbally and in writing, with students, parents, teachers, administrators, community and staff Establishes a culture for learning by supporting the mission, beliefs and the strategic plan of the district Inspires and engages all students in relevant learning Maintain confidentiality of information about students, staff and families Experience working with diverse students and families - experience/training with CLR (Culturally Linguistically Responsive) methods preferred Salary Range: $45,921 - $93,884 Apply online at Monticello Schools Employment Opportunities Attachment(s):Special Education Teacher Job Desc.docx Email To A Friend Print Version Openings as of 7/17/2026
