**SPED Teacher** **Location:** Surprise, AZ **Job Type:** Full-Time **Work Setting:** School-Based **Compensation:** $29.00 - $54.00 per hour **Position Overview** Our client is seeking a Full-Time SPED Teacher to support a school district in Surprise, AZ. In this role, you will provide specialized academic and behavioral support to students with disabilities in a K–2 Special Teaching Classroom. Your work will directly impact students and their families by helping create a supportive and effective learning environment that promotes student growth and success. **Responsibilities** - Provide individualized and small-group instruction based on student needs and IEP goals. - Implement accommodations and modifications to support student learning. - Develop, manage, and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). - Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and service records. - Support students with behavioral, social, and academic needs in the classroom setting. - Collaborate with families, school staff, and related service providers. - Participate in IEP meetings, case management, and multidisciplinary team collaboration. - Ensure compliance with special education regulations and district guidelines. **Qualifications** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field. - Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Credential (or eligibility). - Minimum one (1) year of experience. - Experience working with elementary-aged students, preferably grades K–2. - Knowledge of IEP development, compliance, and classroom accommodations. - Familiarity with SEIS or similar documentation systems preferred. - Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills. **Important Expectations** **The district is seeking a candidate who is:** - Fully committed during scheduled working hours. - Reliable, professional, and punctual. - Accurate with documentation and service tracking. - Able to manage classroom responsibilities effectively and efficiently. - Supportive, collaborative, and student-focused. **Compensation & Benefits** - $29.00 - $54.00 per hour (based on experience and location). - Sign-on bonus opportunities available. - Comprehensive health benefits (medical, dental, and vision). - Ongoing clinical and professional support. **Company Overview** Our client is a nationwide provider of comprehensive therapy and educational services.
