The specialist is expected to complete tasks independently, seeking advice on complex issues or when deviations from standard procedures are necessary. May oversee the work of peers, junior staff, or interns within the department. Provides project support to ensure that tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Monitors progress and quality of work, offering feedback and direction as needed. **Competency Expectations** - Provide specialized assistance, insight, and support to various departments, including project support and analysis, record maintenance, and implementing policies and procedures. - Utilize specialized skills to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in specific functions. - Assist with planning and organizing college events, such as fundraisers, alumni gatherings, community outreach programs, and other departmental projects as needed. - Complete or monitor organizational functions or processes, ensuring that they are completed accurately, on time, and in compliance with established policies and regulations. - Track processes, preparing reports for management detailing quality or quantity of departmental actions. - Handle correspondence, arrange meetings, and complete assigned tasks. **Description of Duties and Tasks** - Provide programmatic support for the Service-Learning Program, collaborating with the Director and Program Coordinator to promote program availability across Academic, Workforce and Continuing Education areas. - Facilitate daily program correspondence with faculty, students, and external community partners across multiple written and oral media channels to share program initiatives. - Execute assigned service-lear…
