Our mission is to support the growth and development of children from birth to age 3 through family-centered, evidence-based practices. We are seeking Special Education Teachers who are passionate about making a difference in children’s lives within home and community settings. # Position Overview As a Special Education Teacher in our Early Intervention program, you will work with infants and toddlers (birth to 3 years old) with developmental delays. You will design and implement individualized intervention plans and partner with families to support their child’s educational and functional growth. # Key Responsibilities: - Provide direct early childhood special education services to children in home and community settings - Implement Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs) - Conduct developmental assessments and progress monitoring - Work collaboratively with families and interdisciplinary team members - Deliver family coaching to encourage developmental growth - Maintain documentation and service logs in compliance with NYC EI requirements # What We Offer: - Flexible scheduling with full-time, part-time, hourly, or fee-for-service options - Competitive pay structure - Opportunities for supervision and clinical mentorship - Mobile-friendly electronic documentation system - Ongoing professional development and CEU opportunities - Referral and retention bonuses # Qualifications: - New York State certification in Special Education (Birth–Grade 2), Special Education Permanent Certification or TSSLD/TSHH - Experience with infants, toddlers, or early childhood preferred - Knowledge of Early Intervention service delivery models and documentation standards - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to travel within assigned boroughs of NYC # Physical Requirements: - Hand dexterity ability (ability to operate mobile device, smart phone, computer) - Ability to lift up to 30 pounds - Ability to sit for extended periods of time - Ability to travel to various locations on a near daily basis - Ability to stand for extended periods of time # # # \*Rates are determined based on a combination of factors such as experience level, assignment location, service setting, and applicable program guidelines.
