Candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge of content and pedagogy and knowledge of Pennsylvania's Academic Standards. Utilization of crisis prevention techniques/strategies (including possible restraint as a last resort) with students who require such in their IEP. Training will be provided via CBSD. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree and PA Special Education 7-12 certification (content area certificate required for issuance). Bachelor's Degree and PA Special Education PK-12 (certificate discontinued 8/31/2013/content area certificate required). *If applicant requires a PDE Emergency Permit, contract eligibility is not applicable, and the vacancy becomes a Long Term Substitute position PROCEDURE:Apply through the CBSD Employment Portal on or before July 31, 2026*.
