Duties and Responsibilities Teaching Assistants may: Work with individual students or small groups on instructional projects Provide teachers with information to support student learning and behavior planning Assist in the use and development of instructional materials Support instructional programs using specialized skills (e.g., languages, arts, music, crafts) Perform related instructional duties as assigned Assist students with specific health-related needs, as appropriate Local collective bargaining agreements may further define specific duties and conditions of employment, consistent with applicable laws and regulations.
