South East Asia Tour Operations Specialist

As an Operations Specialist , you play a key role in making our trips possible by managing bookings with suppliers, building and maintaining long-term partner relationships, and continuously identifying outstanding accommodations, activities, and service providers (including. Note: This is a remote position based in South East Asia. Applications will be considered in English only. On daily basis, you will Own the end-to-end ground operations of our multi-day group tours across Southeast Asia, with a focus on Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. Manage multiple departures, including accommodation, transport, activities, guides, payments, and departure logistics. Recruit, train, brief, schedule, and evaluate Tour Conductors. Source, negotiate, contract, and manage local suppliers while balancing quality and cost. Build long-term relationships with DMCs, hotels, transport companies, activity providers, restaurants, guides, and other tourism partners. Control invoices, prepayments, and operational expenses. Lead the response to disruptions and emergencies during tours. Improve operational processes using technology, AI, and automation. The basics you bring along Fluent professional English and Vietnamese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven operational experience in Ground Operations (ideally 3+ years) with a tour operator or DMC Proven experience independently operating multi-day group tours in Vietnam or Southeast Asia . End-to-end responsibility for reservations, suppliers, logistics, Tour Conductors, payments, and on-tour delivery. Strong experience in supplier negotiation, contracting, cost control, and performance management. Ability to manage multiple departures and resolve operational emergencies independently. Good knowledge of Vietnam, Cambodia & Laos tourism industry, destinations, logistics, and supplier network. Confidence to challenge suppliers, make independent decisions, introduce improvements, and take full ownership of results. Confident use of reservation, operations, or back-office systems, combined with an interest in applying AI and automation to operational workflows. You can impress us even more Experience operating tours across multiple Southeast Asian destinations. An existing network of trusted tourism suppliers and industry partners in Southeast Asia. Experience developing Tour Conductors through coaching, training, and performance management. Proven success improving operational processes through automation, AI, or digital tools.
