Job Summary Lead the sourcing activities for specific categories, including supplier qualification, product development, sample approvals. Responsible for supporting cross-functional teams on new product development and cost reduction initiatives. Negotiate supplier pricing, payment terms, safety stocks, lead times, and minimum order quantities. Ensure supplier capabilities and capacity are sufficient to support the business needs. Lead RFQs and other benchmarking activities to validate and implement the best cost solutions. Essential Job Functions * Manage projects to completion by proactively working with product managers and engineers to provide timely and clear feedback to suppliers with specific guidance on next steps. Drive completion of sourcing activities that have direct impact on companywide objectives. Lead product approvals in collaboration with offshore sourcing team members, suppliers, product managers and engineers. Conduct Request for Quote (RFQ) activities that summarize supplier quotations, landed cost analyses and total cost of ownership with recommendations for next steps. Arrange delivery of product samples to suppliers as part of the RFQ process. Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree 2+ Years of relevant experience in Sourcing, Purchasing or Supply Chain Competencies – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Background in the hardware industry is preferred but not required Proficiency with MS Excel required Ability to collaborate with team members in all levels of the organization Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Results oriented Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills Operational Equipment N/A Work Environment and Physical Demands Work Environment Office: Office setting.
