Company Overview: We are building Protege to solve the biggest unmet need in AI — getting access to the right training data. The process today is time intensive, incredibly expensive, and often ends in failure. The Protege platform facilitates the secure, efficient, and privacy-centric exchange of AI training data. Solving AI’s data problem is a generational opportunity. We’re backed by world-class investors and already powering partnerships with some of the most ambitious teams in AI. The company that succeeds will be one of the largest in AI — and in tech. We’re a lean, fast-moving, high-trust team of builders who are obsessed with velocity and impact. Our culture is built for people who thrive on ambiguity, own outcomes, and want to shape the future of data and AI. Role Overview We're hiring a Healthcare Solutions Lead to guide prospects and customers through the definition and delivery of healthcare datasets. This is a customer-facing, technically grounded role that sits at the intersection of solution design, program delivery, and data quality. Your job is to understand what customers are building, identify the healthcare data that best fits their needs, and assemble high-quality samples and final deliveries that meet both technical and conceptual requirements. You will operate across modalities including EHR, claims, radiology, pathology, and unstructured text, while keeping timelines, milestones, and risks clear from feasibility through final handoff. At its core, this role is about creating clarity in ambiguous situations: translating customer needs into a structured plan, coordinating the right internal and external partners, and ensuring the final dataset is both usable and trustworthy. What You'll Do Lead solution design and customer delivery - Translate customer requirements into clear dataset plans, delivery scopes, milestones, and execution paths. - Serve as a primary customer contact, managing expectations and keeping technical decisions legible throughout the process. - Lead end-to-end program management from initial specification through QA, packaging, and final delivery. Own the technical and analytical work behind delivery - Use SQL and Python to construct cohorts, evaluate data readiness, validate coverage, and support customer-specific requirements. - Assess tradeoffs across modalities, sources, and delivery approaches to determine what is feasible and highest-value. - Create structured plans that connect solution architecture, partner constraints, privacy requirements, and delivery execution. Drive quality, compliance, and partner coordination - Oversee QA for complex healthcare datasets, including EHR, claims, radiology, pathology, and unstructured text. - Work with Protege data partners to source and refine healthcare datasets needed for active opportunities and deliveries. - Partner with privacy stakeholders to ensure HIPAA-aware handling and appropriate safeguards throughout the delivery process. Create leverage for the team - Bring order to multiple simultaneous projects and keep priorities, risks, and dependencies visible. - Identify repeatable improvements to planning, QA, communication, and delivery workflows. - Help the team get better at moving quickly without losing rigor, trust, or customer clarity. What Success Looks Like - 30 days: Learn the system. Build a strong understanding of the healthcare delivery motion, the core modalities, the partner network, and the biggest execution risks in the current process. - 60 days: Own meaningful work. Run live customer or delivery workstreams with clear plans, credible QA, and strong cross-functional coordination. - 90 days: Create leverage. Independently manage complex healthcare opportunities while improving the operating rhythm, the quality bar, and the team's ability to scale. What You Bring - Strong customer-facing experience and comfort leading technical conversations with clarity and confidence. - Analyst-first mindset with deep hands-on fluency…
