Who you are: We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Team Lead, Solutions Engineering who will be responsible for guiding and assisting a Solutions Engineering Team, supporting all team endeavors including leading the execution of projects assigned by senior leadership, and liaising with other team leaders and departments. What you'll do: As a Team Lead, Solutions Engineering, your key area of responsibility will be providing technical leadership, guiding and coaching a Solutions Engineering team, and leading the execution of technical projects while supporting revenue-generating and strategic efforts. You will need to work closely with Geotab's internal stakeholders, partners, customers, and cross-functional teams including Sales, Product Development, and Customer Support. To be successful in this role you will be a strong team player and a mentor with a strategic mindset, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a keen sense of priorities. In addition, the successful candidate will have strong project management skills with an ability to identify needs, develop effective solutions, manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously, and drive revenue growth through indirect sales channels and ecosystem expansion. How you'll make an impact: Team Leadership and Development Develop, evaluate, and continuously refine team processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring adherence to best practices. Run and manage team meetings, including 1:1 meetings, planning meetings and retrospectives. Provide direction, mentorship, and training opportunities, empowering team members through coaching and professional development initiatives. Oversee team performance, career development planning, and key performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Maintain and expand the team's technical knowledge of the Geotab ecosystem. Lead and delegate projects, balancing workloads and optimizing individual and team contributions.
