Brown and Caldwell has an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineer to help lead major projects and deliver exceptional service to our well-established utility clients. This position will be responsible for serving as an experienced resource on energy planning and design projects and maintaining and enhancing relationships with existing clients. Renewable energy is one of BC’s key service lines, with a national practice comprised of industry leading experts. This TC3, Strategic Engagement role is responsible for completing projects that include comprehensive assessments, analyses, development and implementation of transformation strategies and implementation plans for our client’s businesses. Project elements can include strategic planning, organizational development, comprehensive planning, policy and procedure development, business process mapping, evaluation and development, and change management efforts with an emphasis on stakeholder engagement and facilitation. This role focuses on overall project delivery solving moderately complex problems, and providing guidance and training to less experienced colleagues. This position will make informed decisions within the practice area’s broad guidelines and policies. ## Responsibilities - Conduct targeted and/or comprehensive business assessments and development of implementation strategies and plans for our clients to enhance their operations and efficiency. - Complete tasks or elements in development of client strategic plans and decision-making processes directly tied to the successful achievement of overall organizational and functional area goals. - Execute organizational development and management services for clients to achieve organizational excellence. - Execute development and implementation of stakeholder engagement and communications plans including communication piece development. - Facilitate in-person and/or virtual stakeholder workshops across a diverse array of project, program, or other engagement needs to elicit input, foster alignment, and achieve desired engagement outcomes. - Flexibility to adapt and execute various additional assignments based on evolving needs. - Support energy research and innovation activities under the direction of National Technology and Innovation Lead (NTIL) ## ## Mentorship - May provide mentorship, guidance, support, and knowledge-sharing to help less experienced team members develop their skills and grow within their roles. ## ## Skills and Competencies - Working proficiency in systems thinking skills for analyzing organizational and business needs. - Working proficiency in the process of researching, developing and communicating an understanding of a client’s essential or critical business factors. - Working proficiency in organizational development and management principles. - Working proficiency in change leadership and management, decision support theories and models, and monitoring. - Working proficiency in strategic planning, engagement and communications approaches and plans. - Working proficiency in workshop design and implementation skills both in-person and virtual. - Working proficiency in communication piece development in a variety of mediums (written, audio, video) and content formats (text, graphics, photo, sound, and video). - Strong facilitation and interview skills. - Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills. - Developing leadership skills with the capability to inspire and guide a team. ## ## Experience - Typically, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a related role. - Experience in analyzing organizational and business needs, organizational development, and change management. - Typically certified in the SMS Framework, and progressing through the SMS competencies. ## ## Education - A bach…
