Soil Logistics Technician Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Soil Logistics Technician to join our Northampton PA team. The Soil Logistics Technician is responsible for coordinating and supporting soil management, sampling, transportation, and disposal activities for environmental remediation and construction projects. This role works closely with project managers, field personnel, laboratories, vendors, subcontractors, and disposal facilities to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both in the field and in a logistics coordination capacity. Travel throughout New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania is required, with occasional overnight travel. Responsibilities: Travel to and from project sites, primarily throughout New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, with travel to other locations as business needs require. Coordinate and support the transportation, management, and disposal of soil and other environmental materials. Work with project managers, laboratories, vendors, subcontractors, transporters, and disposal facilities to ensure project schedules and logistics are successfully executed. Understand and interpret Chain of Custody (COC) documentation, sampling plans, and site maps. Establish and follow soil and groundwater sampling protocols and perform sampling activities in accordance with project requirements. Collect, document, package, and prepare environmental samples for laboratory analysis while maintaining chain of custody. Maintain accurate project documentation, field logs, manifests, and shipping records. Demonstrate a working knowledge of drum and container management, waste profiling, and manifesting procedures. Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, RCRA, and other applicable environmental and transportation regulations. Support environmental remediation, field services, and transportation and disposal (T&D) projects involving hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Monitor project activities to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams. Understand, follow, and help enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Soil Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; or High school diploma or GED with 1–2 years of experience in soil sampling, environmental field services, or a related environmental industry. Experience with environmental sampling, soil management, or remediation projects preferred. Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA, and RCRA regulations preferred. Understanding of Chain of Custody documentation and environmental sampling procedures. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong customer service skills and the ability to work professionally with clients and regulatory agencies. Proficient with Microsoft Office and other computer applications. Demonstrates sound judgment, professionalism, and attention to detail.
