Job Summary Kaseya is seeking a Software Engineer II to contribute to the development of scalable software platforms and cloud-based applications. This role will focus on building, testing, and maintaining software features that help organizations improve operational efficiency, security, and visibility across their technology environments. The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with experience delivering production software, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and continuing to grow technical depth in modern SaaS and distributed systems. Roles & Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain software features for cloud-based applications and platform services. Contribute to backend services, APIs, integrations, and core platform components. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, sprint planning, troubleshooting, and production support. Work with senior engineers, QA, product management, UX/UI, and operations teams to deliver high-quality software. Follow engineering best practices for secure coding, automated testing, CI/CD, documentation, and maintainability. Investigate bugs, performance issues, customer-impacting defects, and technical problems while driving resolution and continuous improvement. Contribute to improvements in reliability, usability, security, scalability, and system performance. Communicate progress, blockers, and technical questions clearly within the team. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. 3+ years of software engineering experience building production software, SaaS applications, platform services, or similar systems. Hands-on programming experience with languages such as Java, C#, .NET, or similar technologies. Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, SQL, or similar technologies. Familiarity with agile development, code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and debugging production software. Preferred Qualifications Experience with SaaS products, enterprise software, business applications, or cybersecurity solutions. Exposure to AWS, cloud-native platforms, distributed systems, or large-scale applications. Understanding of APIs, application security, service reliability, and scalable software design principles. Experience working with integrations, telemetry systems, data processing services, or application monitoring tools. Ability to work independently on defined tasks while seeking guidance when needed.
