Strong programming and software design skills are essential, so we'll ask you to write code during most steps of the interview process. What you will do Work within an Agile (Scrum/Kanban) team to develop services and applications. Write, debug, and maintain code under the guidance of senior team members (primarily in Java, with exposure to Python or other languages). Collaborate with teammates to design, develop, and test software solutions. Assist in the development and optimization of database schemas and queries for applications. Learn and utilize tools for automation, such as Jenkins, Gradle, JUnit, and Terraform. Participate in code reviews to improve skills and learn best practices. Monitor and troubleshoot software performance issues with team support. Stay updated with new technologies and share insights with your team. Make things better every day. Roles and Responsibilities: Write efficient and maintainable code, adhering to best practices. Design, query, and optimize database solutions to ensure scalability and performance. Debug and resolve coding, design, and database-related issues under guidance from senior engineers. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver quality solutions. Update and maintain existing software and database solutions as necessary. What you will have Qualifications/Education Requirement Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). 3+ years of experience in software development. Experience with Java or a similar programming language (Python is a plus). Strong understanding of frontend technologies (React/Angular/Vue) and full-stack development concepts. Basic understanding of databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Exposure to Unix/Linux environments. Eager to learn about RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud environments.
