What you’ll do Responsibilities Drive technical innovation to support automation and efficiency, serving both Stripe users and internal teams; Collaborate with user-facing teams to understand operational challenges and implement robust technical solutions; Design and implement features to power Stripe's global 24/7 support operation. Write high-quality, well-tested code with appropriate monitoring and observability; Build support for initiatives by sharing compelling data, and measure outcomes to demonstrate successful execution; Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions; Partner with product and design teams to deliver excellent user experiences. Who you are Minimum requirements Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus 3 years of software development experience. Must also have 3 years of experience in each of the following: Building production software systems with well-tested code; Front-end and back-end software development; Designing, building, and maintaining functional applications including web-based agent tooling platforms, case management and routing systems; Integrating and maintaining multiple systems and processes including cloud-based infrastructure platforms, database systems, API gateways, authentication systems, and CI/CD pipelines; Developing software solutions that support internal operations or customer workflows; Writing software in Ruby, React, or TypeScript; Building and maintaining high-throughput API services; and Improving system performance and operational efficiency Salary: $161,637.00 - $213,800.00/yr. This salary range represents the base salary range for the role and any sales commissions / sales bonuses targets, if applicable, would be in addition to the base salary. 40 hrs/week 100% Telecommuting permitted. Multiple Positions Available.
