Social Worker - South Community Links

Liquid Personnel is recruiting two experienced Adult Social Workers to join its client’s South Bristol Community Links Team. This is a full-time agency role offering £32 per hour with a hybrid working model. This is a dynamic opportunity to work within a supportive team, managing a varied caseload across community-based adult social care services. The Role You will undertake a range of statutory duties under the Care Act, supporting adults with complex needs within the community. The role involves safeguarding, assessment, and collaborative working to ensure safe and effective outcomes for service users. During the initial onboarding period, you will be required to attend the office more frequently to support team integration before moving to a hybrid working arrangement. Key Responsibilities Undertake Care Act assessments and reviews Complete Section 42 safeguarding enquiries Carry out Mental Capacity Assessments and Best Interest decisions Participate in the duty rota and respond to urgent cases Undertake Court of Protection work where required Facilitate hospital discharges, including forensic and community mental health cases Complete assessments and reviews for out-of-area placements Maintain accurate case records, reports, and care plans Work collaboratively with partner agencies to support service users About You To be considered for this role, you will have: Significant experience within Adult Social Care Ability to manage a varied caseload independently and hit the ground running Strong working knowledge of the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act Experience in safeguarding and statutory responsibilities Experience using LAS is desirable Excellent communication and organisational skills Working Pattern Hybrid working model Minimum 2 days per week in the office Office-based on duty days (rota basis) Attendance at monthly practice meetings required What’s on Offer? £32 per hour Hybrid working flexibility Free on-site parking Supportive and collaborative team Varied and rewarding caseload Why Liquid Personnel?
