Social Worker - Looked After Children

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Children's Social Worker to join Bolton Council's Looked After Children (LAC) Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children and young people in care, ensuring they receive the stability, support and opportunities they need to achieve positive outcomes. You'll be joining a supportive team committed to delivering high-quality, child-centred practice. Key Responsibilities Manage a caseload of Looked After Children. Develop and review care plans to meet the needs of children and young people. Undertake statutory visits and ensure all statutory responsibilities are met. Work closely with foster carers, residential providers, families and partner agencies. Prepare reports for reviews, court proceedings and care planning meetings. Promote permanence planning and positive outcomes for children in care. Requirements Social Work England Registration. Qualified Social Worker status. Previous experience within Children's Social Care, ideally in Looked After Children, Court, Safeguarding or Care Planning teams. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and statutory guidance. Enhanced DBS.
