Social Worker - Learning Disabilities

Liquid Personnel is seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is confident in completing Community DoLS work and preparing associated court documentation. This role supports a project aimed at addressing a backlog of individuals requiring Community DoLS assessments, for it's client based in Southampton. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal frameworks and be able to manage complex cases efficiently and independently. What will your responsibilities be? In this role, you will, Conduct person-centred assessments of needs, risks, and strengths. Develop and review care and support plans tailored to individual goals and aspirations. Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns. Advocate for the rights and choices of individuals, ensuring their voices are central in decision-making. Support individuals to build life skills and increase independence. Facilitate access to education, employment, housing, and community resources. Work closely with families, carers, health professionals, and other agencies to coordinate care. Why Join Us?
