This position includes 0.8 FTE work with Restorative Practices/Behavior support at Wildwood Elementary. Preferred Experience: Previous experience as a school social worker or social work in a related field Previous experience with restorative practices is preferred Previous experience providing support with the behaviors and social-emotional needs of general education students Previous experience leading and implementing programs successfully within a school setting is preferred, along with the ability to influence and educate colleagues Must have strong leadership skills and the ability collaborate well with administrators and teachers Education and Experience Requirements: Degree:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Education or relevant instructional subject area. License:Licensed teachers in the State of MN with appropriate licensure for assigned areas of responsibility or proof of pending approved licensure. Must have a valid MN Middle School English/Language Arts and Reading license or able to obtain the appropriate license from PELSB, Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board, and/or equivalent LETRS training. Experience:Prior successful experience student teaching or teaching in an urban,multicultural education setting.
