Social Worker – Children’s Safeguarding

Job Title: Social Worker - Children’s Safeguarding (Advanced Practitioner Level) Location: Middlesbrough Pay Rate: £34.46 per hour Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker to join its client’s Children’s Safeguarding (Advanced Practitioner Level) team, based in Middlesbrough. This full-time role involves managing complex safeguarding cases, conducting assessments, developing care plans, and leading interventions to ensure child safety. You will work collaboratively with multi-agency partners, contribute to court proceedings, and maintain accurate case records in line with statutory requirements. What will your responsibilities be? Manage complex safeguarding cases involving children and families at risk. Undertake assessments, develop care plans, and lead interventions to ensure child safety and wellbeing. Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to deliver effective safeguarding responses. Contribute to court proceedings and provide high-quality written reports. Maintain accurate and timely case records in line with statutory requirements. Participate in team meetings, supervision, and duty rota as required. Qualifications and Experience: To be successful in this role you must have. Qualified Social Worker with current registration. Substantial post-qualified experience in children’s safeguarding. Strong assessment, planning, and risk management skills. Confident in managing complex cases and working under pressure. Committed to delivering high-quality, child-centred practice.
