Social Media & Publicity Specialist

Position: Social Media & Publicity Specialist Full Time or Part Time: Part Time Hours: 12 – 16 hours / week Pay range: $19.50-$21 / hour, paid bimonthly (every other Friday) Morton Public Library is looking for a social media guru with graphic design skills to create engaging content for Facebook and Instagram as well as flyers and brochures. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is able to manage multiple projects effectively while meeting deadlines. This is a 12-16-hour / week, non-exempt, remote position with flexible hours. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or related fields preferred Knowledge of and ability to use desktop publishing, photo/video editing, and word processing software Fluency in social media Awareness of current trends in the field and how to utilize them to market the library.
