SoC Modeling Engineer

## **Company:** Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. ## **Job Area:** Engineering Group, Engineering Group > ASICS Engineering **General Summary:** This role is to support expanding SoC Architecture team with modeling of various physical and performance aspects of SoC operation. Successful candidate will demonstrate experience in following domains: - Hands-on with MatLab, SimuLink or similar tools - Hands-on with SPICE simulations at component and device level - Modeling of electrical systems and circuits, at component and transistor level - Modeling of thermal systems - Modeling of Power Delivery circuits (PMIC and PDN) - Digital design at RTL, gate-level and transistor level - Modeling of SoC traffic patterns - Automation of simulations and exploration space - Ability to work under supervision and independently - Excellent comprehension, organization, communication and presentation skills Desired Educational Background: - MS or PhD in Electrical or Thermal Engineering, Applied Mathematics - Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, Computer Architecture, Queueing Theory is a plus **Minimum Qualifications:** • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience. OR Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
