**Requirements and Qualifications:** 1. Bachelor or four year degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Health, Psychology or a related field is recommended. A 2 year degree or 60 credit hours will be accepted in Early Childhood or related field. A high school diploma or GED and 2 years previous supervised work experience with young children and/or parents. 2. Must pass criminal background check and is subject to the agency’s drug and alcohol testing program. 3. Negative Tuberculosis Screen, First Aid certification, CPR certification with emphasis on children and toddlers. 4. Extensive travel required in the area; must be able to travel outside project area as assigned. 5. May come into contact with childhood diseases and blood on occasion. 6. Possess a valid Texas driver’s license and acceptable driving record, as approved by the agency’s vehicle insurance carrier. 7. Employee must have an account with a financial institution that can process financial transactions through MET’s electronic payroll system. 8. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer functions. 9. Military Connected. **Job Duties:** 1. Organize and participate in Outreach & Community Events. 2. Facilitate curriculum and sessions. 3. Facilitate in Jail and institutions. 4. Complete and manage reports and activities in accordance with program requirements. 5. Collect data and track client progress and conduct assessments to identify possible interventions, provide guidance and referrals to resources. 6. Develop self-sufficiency action plans and assist participants in selection of work experiences. 7. Facilitate group activities, program overviews, and assessments. 8. Participate in staff meetings, case reviews and supervised coaching. 9. Track required program data, maintain case files, assessments, support services and work experience by federal, state and agency funding. 10. Maintain and submit in a timely manner all required program documentation. 11. Organize and inventory supplies and materials. 12. Participate in at least 1 hours of reflective supervision per month. 13. Participate in at least 2 hours of staff meetings per month. 14. Obtain competency based professional development and renew parent educator certification annually. 15. Participate in continuous quality improvement. 16. Report to work at scheduled time and maintain good attendance. Perform all duties in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Participate with a positive attitude and behavior in all program activities. 17. Maintain confidentiality in all areas of responsibility. 18. Perform all other duties as outlined by supervisor.
