Work is 100% remote. Some availability during business hours is needed to attend scheduled Zoom meetings.* SMEs serve as advisors to Interplay and play a key part of our growth by helping us build industry-leading training content to advance the data center industry. At this time, we are looking for subject matter experts with direct data center construction expertise in one or more of the following areas: - Electrical - - Install switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, power distribution units, busways, panels, grounding, lighting, and receptacles. - Network and fiber - - Install structured cabling, fiber-optic cable, telecommunications systems, access control, cameras, alarms, and building controls. - Terminate, splice, test, label, and certify connections between equipment rooms, racks, and network infrastructure. - Rack Installation - - Assemble, position, anchor, bond, align, and label server racks, install rack accessories and prepare them for power, cabling, and IT equipment. - HVAC - - Install chillers, cooling towers, air-handling units, computer room air conditioners, pumps, piping, ventilation, and controls. - Plumbing and Pipefitting - - Install domestic water, drainage, fuel-gas piping, condenser-water piping, chilled-water piping, and equipment connections.
