With competitive pay and benefits, safe and stable work, and an environment that is caring and supportive, Iowa Premium could become your next career move! **Competitive wages and benefits:** - Family-friendly benefits including health, vision and dental - 401K Retirement Plan with company match - Paid Vacation after 1 year of service - Paid Holiday, personal days, birthday - Employee Meat Purchase Sales - Paid Life Insurance For more information on Iowa Premium, Click here! ## Responsibilities **Slaughter Department Clerk responsibilities include but are not limited to:** - Creating and maintaining all employee files and our Kronos and filing system - Schedules - Employee Pay Status changes - Disciplines/Attendance - Crewing - Translating and interpreting for non-English speaking employees - Assisting with HR, Benefits, and Medical filing - Providing clerical support for department by updating forms, copying, filing, mail distribution, meeting scheduling, ordering supplies, etc. - Supporting Managers in efforts related to Kronos, employee tracking, and employee relations - Acting as an extension of HR - Abiding by and demonstrating high moral/ethical standards - Adhering to all Iowa Premium Policies and Procedures (Food Safety, PPE, Attendance, etc.) - Maintaining all laws/regulations set forth by Iowa Law, Iowa Premium Policies and Procedures, and Code of Ethics - Other duties as assigned This is an on-site position. ## Qualifications **Qualified candidates for the Slaughter Department Clerk position should possess the following:** - High School Diploma required - Minimum of 2 years’ experience in progressively responsible clerical work. Previous experience in an HR department preferred - Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communications skills and ability to deal effectively with a variety of people and situations - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills - Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing - Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information - Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS system) - Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Qualified candidates for this position will be required to successfully complete the background check. Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
