We are seeking a skilled and reliable Skid Steer Operator to join our Team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating skid steer loaders and will be responsible for a variety of tasks including site preparation, material handling, and general maintenance. The Skid Steer Operator must adhere to all safety protocols, effectively communicate with team members, and ensure the efficient completion of projects. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities: Safely operate skid steer loaders to perform tasks such as lifting, loading, and moving materials. Use various attachments (e.g., buckets, forks, augers) to accomplish different tasks. Prepare sites by clearing debris and grading the ground. Maintain equipment, ensuring it is clean, fueled, and functioning properly. Load and unload materials from trucks or other transportation vehicles. Transport materials around the job site. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct pre-operational checks and report any issues or malfunctions. Coordinate with other workers and supervisors to ensure tasks are completed efficiently. Communicate effectively regarding progress, issues, and any necessary adjustments. Maintain logs or reports of equipment usage, maintenance, and any incidents or issues encountered. Stay updated on new equipment, attachments, and techniques. Participate in training sessions and certifications as required. Assist with other tasks as needed.
