This role is ideal for candidates seeking steady, local driving work without overnight travel. **Why Join?** - Work with an established Maine-based company with 40 years of industry experience - Many long-tenured employees and believe in a community-focused culture - Committed to safety **Key Responsibilities** - Transport loads between designated warehouse and delivery locations in a safe and timely manner - Follow routes and delivery schedules to ensure timely and efficient operations - Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations, maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the shuttle vehicle and reporting any concerns or safety issues promptly - Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams regarding routes, delays, or issues - Adhere to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations while driving the shuttle vehicle - Support the team and perform additional relevant duties as needed **What We’re Looking For** - Valid driver’s license and Class A Commercial Driver’s License (required) - Previous CDL-A driving experience (preferred) - Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination (required) - 2+ years of incident-free commercial driving experience (preferred) - Effective communication skills - Ability to follow routes, directions and schedules - Reliability; able to report to work on time daily and work independently **What to Expect** - A reliable schedule with rotating available (Monday through Friday, with a 6:00 AM-7:00 AM start time and optional overtime available on Saturdays) - A primary work location in south-central Maine - Consistent routes mainly within the State of Maine that keep you close to home - Sitting for long durations (must be able to twist, turn, bend, stand, climb, kneel, and walk as required to perform the duties associated with the driver role) Compensation: $25.00 per hour
