**POSITION SUMMARY** Show Supervisors are responsible for overseeing Seattle Theatre Group’s (STG) live event box office operations and delivering exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include supervising box office staff, resolving ticketing issues, managing holds and guest lists, and generating reports for show settlement. The role also involves back-office ticket fulfillment, advance reporting, and pre-settlement preparation. This position earns between $25.08 - $30.09/hour (midpoint $30.09) DOE, and has paid safe/sick leave. In addition, this position is cross-trained in daytime customer service operations, including responding to patron inquiries via email, answering phone calls, and assisting with in-person ticket sales at the box office. Work schedules are established monthly, with weekly hours varying based on event volume. This role requires in-person, on-site work, including multiple days each week at both the administrative office and event venues. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Candidates must be available to work at all STG venues, including The Paramount, The Moore, The Neptune, and The 5th Avenue Theatres, Kerry Hall, and our outdoor concert venue, Remlinger Farms in Carnation, WA. This role may include additional duties as assigned and requires flexibility to adapt to evolving responsibilities as the organization grows. **ALL STG POSITIONS** STG employees are committed to exceptional patron experiences, cultivating lasting connections, and upholding excellence in every interaction. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Supervise and assist staff on live shows for matinee, evening, weekend and holiday performances - Work with Front of House staff resolving seating issues - Resolve patron customer service issues - Facilitate guest lists and other artist needs - Fulfill client ticket orders as well as internal orders from other STG departments - Respond in a timely manner to email requests both day of show and in advance of show - Prepare box office statement and settlement reports - Monitor ticket holds prior to the event - Assist staff with ticket fulfillment - Print Will Call and organize additional materials such as venue access passes - Troubleshooting technology issues such as issues with ticketing software, scanners and printers - Provide assistance when needed with box office and subscriptions customer service such as engaging with patrons through email, phones and at walk up window. - Coordinate staffing with Audience Services Managers To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. **QUALIFICATIONS** - Prior supervisory experience in a box office or live event venue - Proficiency in Ticketmaster TMWin HOST and Archtics ticketing software preferred - Must be available days, evenings, weekends and holidays - Strong customer service background with excellent customer service skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adjusting to a variety of events and audience types - Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office suite of programs - Touch type and ten key proficiencies - Basic math and accounting proficiency **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS** - Vision – corrected vision close to 20/20 is necessary to effectively use the computer screen - Sitting/Standing/Walking – about 50% of the time is spent seated at a desk The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
