Shop Pipefitter - Currently Hiring

## Description **This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position and is not an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or requirements.** **Overview:** The Pipefitter is responsible for the layout, assembly and fabrication of piping systems in accordance with client specifications, isometric drawings, and applicable standards. This role ensures accurate fit-up of pipe, fittings, and supports to support quality production and overall project success. **Responsibilities:** - Measure and mark pipe to prepare for cutting to required dimensions - Read and interpret isometric and orthographic drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine layout and assembly requirements - Assemble and secure pipe, fittings, and related equipment according to client specifications - Verify materials and components meet job specifications and report discrepancies - Work collaboratively with welders, supervisors and QC personnel to meet production schedules and quality expectations - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment - Perform additional duties within the fabrication division as assigned - Comply with all Company Core Safety Rules, policies and procedures **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 1 year of pipefitting experience in a fabrication shop environment - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld procedures and technical documents - Ability to work extended hours, including 10-hour shifts and overtime as required - Physically capable of standing for extended periods - Physically capable of bending, kneeling, and squatting throughout the workday - Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., unassisted **Key Competencies:** - Strong understanding of materials and industry standards - Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work - Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment - Demonstrated reliability, professionalism and strong work ethic **This role is classified as** **Non-Exempt** **under the FLSA.** ****
