Shop Helper - Accepting Applications, Not Currently Hiring

## Description **Overview:** The **Shop Helper** will be responsible for working in the manufacturing shop assisting in our daily fabrication processes. This full-time position offers long-term growth potential within the company. **Responsibilities:** - Some knowledge of, or ability to familiarize self with, the shop and equipment. - Ability to follow oral and written instructions regarding the daily functions of the shop, safety rules and regulations. - General mathematical skills for counting, etc. - General cleaning duties around the shop - Basic skills in the use of hand and power tools and equipment. - Ability to develop more specialized skills in such areas as welding, isometric readings, machine operation. - Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees. - Comply with all Company Core Safety Rules, policies and procedures. - Report any unsafe conditions wherever they exist to the safety department, their supervisor, or the management of Trade Construction immediately. - Report all incidents/accidents/injuries involving the health and wellbeing of any employee to management immediately. **Qualifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent - Must be able to stand for 10 hours and squat and bend at the waist as needed throughout the day - Have the ability to lift at least 50lbs. - Professional ability to work well with management - Excellent communication and teaming abilities - Attention to detail
