Shop Grinder/Blaster- MFG

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES** - Use plasma cutter on a turntable to cut elbow halves and de-cap. - Use hand grinder to grind bevels for elbows to be fit up for welding. - Use hand cutting torch to cut elbows. - Clean/Finish all fittings to remove all grinding marks, scratches and surface imperfections using grit blast and sand blast removing equipment. - Inspect all blast equipment and PPE associated equipment daily before beginning any blasting. - Work with minimum supervision. - Keep area environmentally clean and orderly at all times. - Provide on the job training to new employees as needed. - Follow all safety and health policies and procedures issued by the company. Other duties as assigned. - Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. - Ability to read tape measure accurately. - Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required. - Ability to drive a forklift and pass forklift certification class
