Shipping/Receiving Specialist

**About the Role** Sunrise Hitek (a Graphic Village company) is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented **Shipping & Receiving Specialist** to support our fast-paced digital print production environment. This role is critical in ensuring materials and finished products move efficiently through our facility and out to customers. If you enjoy hands-on work, staying organized, and being part of a production team, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills in logistics, printing, and operations. ## **Key Responsibilities** - Receive, inspect, and distribute incoming shipments to appropriate departments - Prepare and package outgoing shipments (FedEx, UPS, freight, courier) - Operate forklift and pallet jacks (training provided) - Maintain accurate records in job tracking and shipping systems - Organize and maintain shipping/receiving and pack-out areas - Coordinate pickups and deliveries with shipping carriers (FedEx, UPS, USPS) - Assist with inventory of packaging and cleaning supplies - Support production and fulfillment projects as needed - Retain and organize shipment samples for tracking purposes ### **Facility & Maintenance Support** - Manage recycling and waste bins throughout the production floor - Keep shipping dock, forklift lanes, and parking areas clean and safe - Clean shared spaces including breakroom and restrooms - Perform light maintenance tasks (e.g., changing filters) ## **Qualifications** **Required:** - Strong attention to detail and organization skills - Ability to multitask and work with urgency - Good communication skills (written and verbal) - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Valid driver’s license - Ability to pass a background check **Preferred:** - Experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse, or logistics - Forklift or pallet jack experience - Familiarity with FedEx, UPS, and shipping systems - Basic computer skills (Mac or PC) - Experience with spreadsheets (data entry, tracking) - Print or production environment experience (a plus) ## **Physical Requirements** - Ability to lift: - Up to 50 lbs frequently - Up to 100 lbs occasionally (with assistance/equipment) - Comfortable working around machinery, noise, and production materials - Ability to move throughout a production facility and operate equipment safely ## **Work Environment** This role operates in a **production and warehouse setting** with exposure to: - Moving equipment and machinery - Moderate to loud noise levels - Cleaning products and printing materials (e.g., isopropyl alcohol) ## **What We Offer** - Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) - Production bonus opportunities - Medical, dental, and vision insurance - 401(k) with company match - Paid time off - Life insurance ## **About Us** Sunrise Hitek, established in 1988, is now part of **Graphic Village**, headquartered in Cincinnati.
