Shipping Material Handler Stock Control - 1st Shift

**DEPARTMENT:** Shipping **JOB TITLE:** 1st Shift Material Handler/Loader/Stock **REPORTS TO:** Shift Facilitator **SHIFT DAYS /HOURS**: 8 hr. shifts (Mon-Friday) 7:00 am- 3:00 pm) Must be willing and able to work Mandatory OT on off days as necessary. **Starting Pay:** $20.34 with the ability to earn more. **What You Will Be Responsible For:** - Properly load trucks with the equipment provided. - Load trucks in an efficient manner keeping in mind location of delivers and drivers route. - Document everything that is put on truck on load sheet. - Unload trucks, check, verify, ticket, and take material to the appropriate department. - Use both Stock and Open order reports. - Put away and Pull stock inventory. - Locate and Pull stock in EPICS. - Check (measure /Webster) when required material going to anodize. - Band and ticket material going to outside vendors. - Stack, stage, band on skids material waiting for shipment. - Do all other receiving functions: - Receive all incoming raw material and other supplies. - Set up Packers with material & take packed material to shipping. - Able to understand material handling techniques to package parts off CNC as necessary - Participate in Continuous Improvement activities - Work independently and as part of a team. - Assist other personnel and perform other duties as required per supervisor. - Inform the Supervisor of any equipment problems or any other problems. - Work in a safe manner always wearing all required Proper Protective Equipment (PPE). - Maintain a clean, clutter-free workstation. - Able to participate in a collaborative environment. - Comply with safety policies and procedures. - Accepts feedback from the Team Leader to ensure the bundles meet safety standards. - Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. **Work Environment / Physical Demands:** - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. - The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch.
