Shift Lead

**Summary:** A Shift Lead at S&G serves as direct support of the store manager; ensures that the store operates efficiently and in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and Company policies; properly manages employees and works closely with Store Manager to ensure the store maximizes sales and profits while maintaining asset controls **Responsibilities:** ⦁ Provide excellent customer service leadership to all customers. ⦁ Acknowledge/Greet all customers that come into the store. ⦁ Ensure that all company policies are being followed. ⦁ Promote and maintains a clean and organized store appearance inside and out. ⦁ Efficiently process both cash and card transactions with integrity. ⦁ Ensure all merchandising and marketing programs are implemented properly. Including maintaining plan-o-gram integrity and appropriate sign placement. ⦁ Ensure foodservice products are fresh and appealing by rotating products appropriately and removing out-of-date products. ⦁ Monitor store activities to ensure that transactions are taking place in the proper manner ⦁ Respond quickly to all emergencies for the safety and security of customers and employees and notifying the appropriate individuals. **Requirements:** • Retail Experience / Customer Service Experience Required ⦁ Able to occasionally lift 50 pounds. ⦁ Able to frequently lift objects up to 10 pounds. ⦁ Able to stand for an entire shift. ⦁ Ability to periodically handle routine physical task such as climbing, squatting, kneeling, pushing, and/or pulling. ⦁ Comfortable working in intermittent temperatures for short periods of time. e.g., in the store, outside, and in the cooler. ⦁ Available to work carious shifts and days of the week as required by the retail environment , including weekends, evenings, and busy periods/holidays.
