Sheet Metal Technician

### Responsibilities **Position Overview** The successful candidate will fabricate and assembly sheet metal products by precisely measuring, cutting, shaping and joining metal sheets by using specialized machinery and hand tools. 1st shift, 7am - 3:30pm. **Key Responsibilities** - Setup and operation on bending and sheet metal forming equipment (expanders, hydraulic forming presses, band saws, light/heavy deburring) - Press Brake Set up and operation - Setup and Operate Shear - Work to daily priorities, adhering to manufacturing schedules - Set up press fixtures - Reading and interpreting blueprints and work instructions - Hand fabrication ### Qualifications **Qualifications** - High School diploma or equivalent - 3+ years of Aerospace sheet metal experience - Deburr experience (use of abrasive and finishing buffing wheels) - Ability to use calipers, micrometers, indicators, tape measures, pie tapes, go - no go gages. - Use of band saws including cut to scribe templet lines. - Blueprint reading experience - Strong math and problem solving - Attention to detail **About Us** - Howmet Aerospace Inc.
