This is hands-on work that combines skilled carpentry with efficient production. Every day, you'll work independently to create buildings that customers will own for years to come, so attention to detail and pride in your workmanship matter just as much as productivity. **Responsibilities include:** - Reading and following floor plans - Framing floors, walls, and roofs - Installing siding, trim, windows, and doors - Installing metal roofing or shingles - Building lofts, workbenches, shelving, and custom options - Cutting and preparing building materials - Operating power tools and equipment safely - Working with your team to meet daily production goals while maintaining Liberty's quality standards **What Makes Someone Successful Here** The best builders at Liberty are people who care deeply about the finished product. We're looking for someone who is: - Passionate about craftsmanship - Takes pride in producing exceptional work - Detail-oriented and quality-focused - Self-motivated and dependable - Able to work efficiently without sacrificing quality - Coachable and willing to learn - A positive teammate who contributes to a great culture - Adaptable in a fast-paced production environment **Qualifications** - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous carpentry or construction experience preferred (2+ years ideal) - Ability to read and follow construction plans - Comfortable using hand and power tools - Ability to lift 70 pounds - Comfortable climbing ladders and working up to six feet off the ground **Work Environment** Our builders work primarily inside our manufacturing facility with occasional outdoor work. This is an active production environment where you'll spend your day building rather than sitting behind a desk. You should be comfortable with: - Standing and walking for extended periods - Working around sawdust, paint, and construction materials - Repetitive lifting and physical activity - Meeting production expectations while maintaining exceptional quality **Compensation** This is a commission-based production position with uncapped earning potential. Your earnings are directly tied to your productivity and quality.
