Service Technician

NOV is hiring a Service Technician to join our team! In this hands-on role, you'll prepare, service, and maintain Downhole tools while supporting safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. If you enjoy troubleshooting equipment, working with your hands, and being part of a team that delivers high-quality products to the energy industry, we'd love to hear from you. **Primary Responsibilities** - Prepare, service, and complete Downhole tools in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. - Service tools in a timely manner while maintaining compliance with Service Quality procedures. - Complete production assignments as directed by supervisors and management. - Accurately complete service documentation and maintain detailed production records. - Safely operate equipment required to perform job duties, including cranes, forklifts, and other shop equipment. - Collaborate with personnel across multiple departments to support operational goals. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and new projects as assigned by management. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. - Perform other duties as assigned. **Job Duties** - Perform the overall preparation, service, and completion of Downhole tools. - Service tools in a timely manner without deviation from Service Quality procedures. - Complete production assignments as directed by Supervisors and Management. - Develop accurate and complete service documentation in a timely manner. - Adhere to all Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) requirements. - Work scheduled hours as determined by management. - Lift up to 70 pounds as required. - Travel domestically up to 10% as required. - Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to high noise levels, vibration, fumes, dust, odors, and varying indoor and outdoor temperatures. **Education and Qualifications** - High school diploma or equivalent preferred. - Previous experience applicable to servicing Downhole tools or similar equipment preferred. - Sufficient training and experience to become familiar with the operational characteristics of company products preferred. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. - Experience using TAT, EDS, and the SSE Program preferred **Veterans Welcome** At NOV, we proudly support and hire U.S. military veterans.
