The Service Technician will work under the direction of the Service Manager and Property Manager. The Service Technician is responsible for assisting in overseeing the physical assets, performing general maintenance and grounds services, apartment make-readies, and preventive maintenance and rehabilitation projects to ensure excellent curb appeal and quality of apartment homes. This position will require the ability to effectively communicate, perform quality work in a safe manner and deliver on our mission of providing exemplary service in accordance with our Mission and Values. **Position Overview:** *Maintenance Services:* - Perform and document preventative maintenance. Conduct inspections, vacant turns, repairs, and janitorial services per the assigned schedule and according to policies and procedures. - May be called upon to perform housekeeping and grounds work, not to exceed 50% of the time. - Be responsible in the utilization of maintenance materials; inform manager of supply needs; keep storage area locked. - Oversee and assist with apartment turns including assistance with resident move-out and apartment renovation, troubleshooting and repair of most major and minor mechanical systems in apartment turn process per standards: ensure 75% of vacant apartments are in market-ready condition according to qua…
