Service & Repair Technician

Location: Ramsey, MN Shift and Time: 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday (Some Saturdays), Seasonal Wage: $25 - $35 an hour DOE Valid Driver's License Required Summary: Travel to customer locations to complete fence repairs, warranty work, and service calls. Diagnose fencing issues and determine the most effective repair solutions. Repair and adjust gates, hardware, posts, panels, and other fence components. Accurately document completed work with measurements, photos, and service records. Provide professional, courteous customer service while communicating with homeowners and clients. Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle, tools, and work area. Collaborate with installation teams and management to ensure repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards. Assist with small fence installation projects as needed. Physical Requirements: Required to stand for long periods of time Must be able to lift or move up to 50 pounds Occasionally required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs or ladders, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Safety is #1 at DFC: Our expectation is that every employee: 1) strictly follows safety policies, rules, and safe work methods. 2) Promptly corrects or reports safety hazards or unsafe conditions. 3) Promptly reports injuries for diagnosis and treatment. 4) Makes regular suggestions for safety process improvements to support continuous improvement in safety.
