Benefits - Up to 4 weeks of vacation/paid time off - Paid holidays (8 days) - Performance based bonuses - 75% Employer paid medical, dental, & vision insurance - $25,000 of life insurance per employee - Supplemental benefits (long-term, short-term, accident, etc.) - 401(k) retirement plan with company match - Monday-Friday - Career path & advancement opportunities - Discounts on tires & automotive services - Paid weekly ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES and BASIC DUTIES - Assist with loading and unloading vehicle parts such as batteries, motor oil and filters. - Communicate in an honest and professional manner to customers and other Thomas associates. - Reviewing shipments and advise management of shortages or damaged products. - Learning new skills and acquiring new knowledge from customers, vendors, fellow employees and corporate training initiatives. Attend training classes provided by Thomas and parts supplier. - Work with Warehouse Manager on proper documentation of merchandise control. - Maintain truck storage area in a neat and organized manner. - Transport product to and from remote locations in a Box Truck. - Load and unload product efficiently. - Keep accurate records of deliveries/pickups, including appropriate signatures. - Properly secure loads and assure loads are within requirements. - Operate company vehicles in a safe manner and report problems or defects. - Complies with Thomas Quality Control Program, Thomas Safety Policy, OSHA and EPA regulations. - Proper maintenance of assigned service vehicle including appearance as well as on board service equipment. - Adheres to working schedule and utilizes time clock per Thomas guidelines. - Understands and upholds the Thomas mission statement.
