Service Drive Coordinator

## Description This role involves managing vehicle movement and client reception within the dealership's service department. · Manage vehicle flow in our service reception area, service lane, service drive, and within the auto group parking lot · Create a sense of welcome for arriving clients by professionally greeting them with a smile and escorting them to appropriate team members in a prompt & friendly manner. · Work with the service advisor to complete tasks such as keeping track of key tasks, cleaning cars, driving vehicles from service stalls, following dealership standards, fielding customer requests, ensuring that each vehicle has protective items (Floor mat, steering wheel cover & seat cover) placed in them before ready to park and other assigned duties · Ensure customer vehicles are ready for return after service department repairs · Park and retrieve vehicles in & from designated parking areas. · Notifies the service advisor of waiting clients. · Keeps the service reception area free of vehicles · Monitor & Manage flow of traffic in service reception area to ensure smooth & efficient flow of traffic. · Assist service technicians in moving inoperable vehicles. · Assist with needed housekeeping duties in the service reception area throughout the day to keep it clean and free of debris. · Helps clients transfer luggage or packages between vehicles. · Work closely with service advisors, technicians and the management team. · Inspect vehicles being returned to the client to ensure the vehicle is returned free of damage & free of stains or hand/foot prints. · Service customer needs with a positive attitude **EXPERIENCE** · Ability to operate automatic & manual transmission vehicles. · Ability to safely operate & park automobiles of all sizes in tight spaces, to include parallel parking and backing a vehicle into parking spots. · Great communication skills and enjoy interacting with people. · Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and under pressure. · Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
