**Job Overview** We are seeking a customer-focused 2nd Shift Service Advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor acts as the liaison between our customers and the Service Department, ensuring each customer receives timely, clear communication and exceptional service. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in building customer relationships and driving Service Department success long term. **Responsibilities** - Greet all customers in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression. - Promptly and courteously receive all incoming service department phone calls. - Clearly explain repairs and services to customers, securing their understanding and approval. - Obtain customer signatures on repair orders and on any updates related to additional repairs, changes in cost, or delays in completion. - Review completed work with customers, ensuring all requested services were performed and understood. - Identify and recommend additional necessary repairs or services - Provide accurate and timely repair estimates, ensuring delivery of estimates on the same day they are requested. - Ensure repair orders are reviewed for completeness and accuracy before closing. - Perform additional tasks as assigned or required by management. **Experience** - Previous experience as a Service Advisor in truck or automotive repair preferred. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. - Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. - Proficient in repair order software and Microsoft Office (or similar programs). - Knowledge of diesel and heavy truck systems is a plus. The anticipated annual pay range for this position is between $55,000 - $75,000. Pay rate offered is determined by relevant experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and seniority as compared to others doing substantially similar work.
